Fruit or Vegetable?

Hello! Here’s another cute quip from one of my students:

I walked into my preschool classroom to teach a lesson on healthy foods. The small students  were instructed to glue foods into the different sections of their plates for fruits/vegetables, breads, milk, meat, and sweets. I asked one of my little guys if he would rather have corn or a pumpkin.

“Pumpkin!” He cried exuberantly.

“Is it a fruit or a vegetable?” I asked.

“It’s a pie!”

This is why, I love kids.
